ABSTRACT

A close look at the 21st century and the decade that is now beginning presents us with evidence of a world undergoing accelerated transmutation, as a consequence of technical and technological progress and digital transformation. This incessant development has a strong impact on the form, mode and means of communication and on access to and dissemination of knowledge. RTIC – Revista de Tecnologias, Informação e Comunicação appears at the intersection between these two domains and aims to disseminate current knowledge and provide perspective on the way in which technology impacts the media of communication and information, highlighting its factors of change and results. RTIC's editorial line focuses on the area of Technologies, exploring its development, over time, as a means of global interaction. RTIC's mission is to promote science in order to stimulate research and the development of studies in different contexts, highlighting the countries of the CPLP and the Portuguese-speaking Diaspora.
